Run by a CAR-PGa member, Bill Walton, The Escapist has been doing RPG advocacy online since 1995, and up until the founding of this site it hosted a page with some background information on CAR-PGa. Still a good source of news, the famous "Spellcasting 101" article, and so on.

This is a nearly completed draft. I am still cleaning up a lot of MLA (later converting to APA) formatting issues, and filling in a few spots that were dropped during editing, but pointed out upon review by others. But here is the current draft for now. I will be uploading a more polished version in coming weeks.

The looks at role playing gaming from the perspective of a psychological and psychiatric possible benefits and deficits to the activity.

There are many tests available for many different approaches. This posting I hope to list some that may be applicable for consideration of different mini-projects, and for the larger project. After enough postings, I will begin to organize these in the documentation section. Create RPG press release listings, pro, con, neutral, snag as many copies as possible. investigate board game talisman (rpg like?) maybe use as control test? The settlers of kattan? (sp?) cooperative game.
