Mission Statement Part 2: Based on established research, using relevant evidence-based and theory-based approaches, design, develop, and implement intervention programs using various forms of role-playing games as a therapeutic and/or educational modality by providing services utilizing role-playing games (and music) to achieve these goals.

Some RPG Research Project volunteers, from a Recreation Therapy background, use the research from the website, and/or contribute further to the body of research, by utilizing role-playing games to help people achieve their educational, entertainment, and/or therapeutic goals, through the intentional use of role-playing games (RPG) and music. They work with toddlers, youth, and adults of all ages, to help improve the quality of their lives.

If you would like to help as a volunteer, complete our Volunteer Sign Up Form.

The RPG Research Project is a volunteer-run effort from an aggregate of various professionals and trainees. If you are interested in dedicated professional commercial services, including consulting, training, and direct services, consider contacting RPG Therapeutics LLC (North America & Europe, since 2004), The Bodhana Group (Pennsylvania, since 2009), Wheelhouse Workshop (Seattle greater areas, since 2015) and others.
